Some issues, like abortion, will probably be debated just as fiercely 100 years from now as they are today. Give it 20, maybe 30 years though, and people with Santorum-like stances on things like gay rights and- dear God- birth control will be considered too far out of the mainstream to even compete for major office. Well, my fingers are crossed, anyway.
