It’s all a little odd. Why now? And why didn’t they know about this themselves? Derbyshire, especially, has been a completely unapologetic racist for years. What’s changed?

Perhaps with the primary defeats of their Tea Party presidential candidates that they are seeing the fail coming, and the edge of the abyss they are teetering on? Tea Party was ultimately a regional strategy with roots in religion and race that doesn’t work well for them on a national stage. Perhaps people are beginning to cancel subs, perhaps people they rub elbows with at those Washington and New York parties are starting to dodge them, perhaps a lot of things? Ultimately in the internet age you can’t succeed with open white nationalism.
