I feel the need to gripe for a second.

My Mom thinks its a poor idea for me to use Muslim Matchmaker Dating sites. I personally don’t want to, but when I said what I am looking for in a lady my age, the friend bluntly told me that it would be extremely hard to find in the Denver-area Muslim community.

At which point my Mom barreled on, saying I should use one of those match-making firms (I’m unemployed, looking for a decent-paying job in the Denver Metro, preferably in my field, so no money), or that their must be mixers or something for the Muslim Community (aside from more than significant mis-understandings on how the Muslim Communities work, we also bounce into the same problem with community at large. Also, I seize up and shut down in groups of more than 10 people. Not going to work.)

All this because my Uncle has had rotten luck online.
