“Targeted carpet bombing.” This is the sort of shit you get from somebody who reads a Tom Clancy novel and immediately thinks he’s a military genius. “Targeted carpet bombing” is an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms so prominent that any military officer would laugh himself silly hearing it. Carpet bombing is for when you don’t care what you hit, you just want to reduce an entire area to rubble. The only way you “target” it is in choosing the size of the area you want to unleash your indiscriminate carnage upon.
