I get such a strong sense that there are lots of people who support her. I’m not much of a political fan. It doesn’t matter who the GOP will propose as nominees in 2012, these supporters will support Palin. All of the sneering, jeering and down-talk won’t win them away. The other nominees will have to win their “hearts” over. How would you do that?

You don’t have to do that. She’s the darling of creationists, white supremacists (“real Americans”), know-nothings and socons. Any salvation for the GOP will come of ignoring these people.
