Could you imagine having a liberal political conference and then putting together a round table on Hollywood discussing the political merits of movies and shows in general? As it is now with CPAC they are almost pleading for political control of Hollywood which runs as a free-market operation basing it’s movies on those same free-market forces. Movies aren’t made to be liberal. They typically reflect your average movie goer who is mostly in a teen to 30s demographic. But it remains a free-market enterprise. CPAC is almost sound like it want political control of movies. Effectively trying to create a conservative Politburo that control movie content for the “moral and ethical education of America.”
