I still say we should scrap 6 of them. 1 on patrol in the Pacific, 1 in the Atlantic, 1 refitting, 1 training is still more than anyone else could bring to bear against us.

And cut 15 billion a year in just day to day operating expenses.

The Navy basically provides international water patrolling for the rest of the world at our expense. Reducing it would divide the seas into sections controlled by local groups, and would make things more expensive and dangerous.
