Every nuke gives off a signature. We would be able to determine the origin of any kind of burst. A dirty bomb would be much harder.

I agree with you about proxies. Hezbollah would not hesitate to wipe Israel off the map. Just as several other jihadi groups would love to vaporize New York or Washington.

This world is scary and I do not take much solace in our leadership. But, I still think even the Democrats would be crying for blood if something terrible happens.
