I did see some of that discussion after the fact and it irritated me. Some people were blaming the Catholic Church too much for my liking. I agree with you that it isn’t related.

On the other hand, I think priests should marry. But that’s obviously a whole other discussion.

The local fundy radio stations (I’ve got two in my area on AM) are really on a tear this week against Catholics.
