Scott Roeder is allowed by Kansas court to pursue “voluntary manslaughter” defense.
Kansas law defines voluntary manslaughter as the “honest but unreasonable belief” that the use of force was necessary in defense of another. It’s called the imperfect self-defense.

So America is soft on terrorism after all.

He can try and use it as a defense, but it doesn’t mean the jury is going to buy off on it.
