Geithner wasn’t under a microscope. Face it. He cheated on his taxes, willfully and repeatedly. He’d been warned in writing. He ignored the warning.

He would have been in much more trouble had he not had his connections.

Didn’t he also get out of paying back taxes because of some financial Statue of Limitations?
