I hope that finally the myth of nation-building will die.

It’s a very colonial idea.

Nations come and go. People have to govern themselves or they won’t be governed.

I have no idea what the Taliban will do once in total control of the nation. Then again, I’m not sure what the Taliban even is anymore.

From what I gather, this will be just another theocracy that will rule over an increasingly impoverished nation.
