Somehow I think the F22 lobby in the Air Force could make a big deal out of this. Backfire bombers and Bears shouldn’t stand a chance.

What I don’t understand is what’s the point of basing bombers which can be so easily eliminated. Does Putin really think boy wonder is such a push over, there wouldn’t be a response to violating airspace, to the point that spending money to base strategic aircraft in foreign countries is worth it for the blustering press?
