True, but I mention America growing sick of him. You are probably right that his district will keep him in for a time. I am thinking America in general will not like him. He will be looked at as another Tea Nut crazy wingnut. It is a hope that a guy like this will further paint the GOP in a bad light nationally and maybe even start to make people more aware of them statewide and in districts.

The key for the Democrats is to turn out the vote this fall. There are gains to be had, but they need to motivate people to go out and keep Republicans out to prevent getting your own Tea Nut in your district because they may be coming. The GOP needs to be dipped heavily in the crazy tea. Like many here are saying, the Republican Party is THE Tea Party. Make that a bad thing and make it a major point.
