Then there is a real problem in the school system itself and how it’s administered.
Not to mention having to deal with 60 different languages spoken by children attending public schools.
I confess, I don’t exactly understand why the languages are such a problem. Children’s brains are incredibly language-malleable, it’s only grown-ups who can’t learn another. When my dad was a kid, half the students at his elementary school were from Yiddish-speaking homes, the other half were from Italian-speaking homes, he was a teenager before he ever met anybody whose parents spoke English, but school was entirely in English and the kids picked it up right quick.
