Reality is that “stuff” so often turns into a burden. When I look around at people in my community I see the full gamut, from those who are keeping up what they own, to people who are clearly in way over their heads. As I get older it’s one of those things I appreciate more - the range of preparedness of people as they leave their nest.
Nothing is permanent. Maintenance costs should be factored into the purchase price of any big-ticket item. So many people I see use their cars like disposable items, and then they wonder why they’re always barely keeping their heads above water.
