Agree on the it’s-too-early to talk about actual candidates.

Yet, the whole “brand” issue is still there… Like it or not, when the Republican brand is brought up in conversation the likely names (ignoring GWB) are Palin and Huckabee (and maybe Romney.) If that poll is worth anything, it is that.
