My grandfather didn’t say the pledge, because he felt his oath of service from WWII was more than enough.

And that was his right, which Jehovah’s Witness’ won around 1948. I remember standing at many an event not saying it when I was a Jehovah’s Witness.

Did you agree with your grandfathers stance on not saying the pledge?
