I didn’t know Petey had escaped until I saw him in the fucking cat’s mouth. I gave chase but stopped when my left little piggy smacked into the doorjamb. The fucking cat dropped the fucking hamster when he heard me scream. Little fucking furry bastard is okay but my toe is a vivid purple and broken.

Buddy tape the toe. Some sort of medically appropriate tape, binding the toe to the next one in. Also, if you have a pair of shoes you can sacrifice, cut out a space for the injured toe so that it doesn’t get crunched.

And then, avoid banging it again for the next few months.
