also, who wakes a five year old up in the middle of the night to say something like that? take them for ice cream or something else nice the next day, apologize for missing the party but explain that you had a good reason and that this day belongs to them. this story is just self-aggrandizement - look at how important I am!!!!

I have many doubts about the veracity of that story, just as I do about the “why don’t you rob that guy instead” Popeyes story.
