Biden is nothing if not an experienced politician. He can sense when he has the advantage. He does now and he is going to press it.
Besides the search results, there are things behind this that we don’t know about. MBS might be about to rat Cheeto out, for example. Putin could do the same as a quid pro quo that might help buy him a refuge.
(Obviously we aren’t going to give Putin asylum in this country, but we could help arrange it behind the scenes somewhere else.)
