Wouldn’t another Democrat be appointed in her place?

The Senate Republicans have said they will flat-out refuse to allow any replacement for Feinstein on the Senate Judiciary Committee. How they have any say in the matter, I have no idea, but if she retires or is unable to serve for any reason, we’re back to not getting any nominees out of committee until 2025.
