The damnable thing is that Dr. Tiller is going to become a lefty martyr, like Mathew Shepard, while Pvt Long is going to be forgotten, in all likelihood.

I would say, truthfully, that Mathew Shepard was a martyr in a sense. I really don’t think he deserves to be put in the same category as Dr. Tiller.

Even though Dr. Tiller in NO WAY deserved what happened to him, there was a lot of contraversery surrounding him.

Mathew Shepard was just a young man who was killed for being gay.

Not a legit comparison in my opinion.
