No that was Jean-Claude Duvalier’s theme song. For some reason Dr. Mo screams A View to a Kill… I don’t know why because I cant even remember who the bad guy was in that movie.

What was the theme to Dr No, or was there a particular one?

The Dr. No theme is the Monty Norman theme that is heard over the “gun barrel” view at the beginning of every 007 film since that one. Full length, it’s about four minutes long, total, and was played over credits seen in a background of rapidly-moving and flashing dots like a cross between a computer display and Vegas neon.

the Maurice Binder visuals seen on most Bond films since then were apparently due to patrons complaining that the rapidly-flashing “dots” made it hard to read the credits. Although most males between twelve and about eighty watching a 007 movie today rarely read the credits anyway.

/I’m one of the exceptions, but I can multitask my eyes.

cheers
