For me, the perp walk is unfortunate in the context of “innocent until proven guilty”. But of course, if it’s going to be done at all then it has to be done to everyone.

I think it’s possible to make a pro-perp walk argument, in the interest of transparency. We don’t whisk people off the street and no one knows what happened to them. It’s all open and you know they’re booked say at precinct 19, housed at Rikers’, etc.
