Good point. But we did just go through a serious financial crisis at the same time a black dude became president, and all we got for it was the meltdown of the Republican Party, Palin, Rand Paul, and the further alienating of libertarian/conservative ideologies.

So despite my utter shame as a human and American with regard to these fucktastic morons, redemption does follow the societal understanding that these are fucktastic morons.
