So I watched the pilot of Billions with Damien Lewis and Paul Giamatti. This has the potential to be a good show. Been a fan of Lewis’s since Band of Brothers and have been impressed with his versatility in roles like Brody on Homeland and now Axelrod on this show. Always liked Giamatti too who I think plays a great flawed protagonist i.e. John Adams.

It was an interesting premise. I think we’re supposed to hate Bobby (Lewis) but so far…not so much. Giamatti, on the other hand, kinda icky. I think the juxtaposition of righteous but weird good guy vs. (not yet shown) criminal rich dude who gives a lot to the community is going to be an interesting.

Is that how you guys read it?
