I’m surprised she had to make it explicit she wasn’t running. No running around to primary states, no fundraising activity, not even a campaign website. That should be enough to make a statement without sacrificing her dignity. She was owed at least that-not having to lower herself to making an explicit statement.

One group that’s going to be very unhappy-make that two-Berners and Trumpers. No foil this time,. they have to actually campaign on ideas-which they clearly lack-and with people who are horribly inept and flawed.

In a way, it should have been clear all along. If she wanted a rematch, she could have simply kept the shell of a campaign staff and structure all along and announced much sooner than now. Instead she goes on a speaking tour, to Puerto Rico to help, starts a PAC, and resumes her speeches. Hardly activities
meant to enhance her electability.
