Pat Buchanan’s keynote at the 1992 Republican National Convention pretty much cemented my refusal to vote GOP on a national level.

It took a while, but the jabbering GOP morans here in Texas eventually made sure I wouldn’t vote for them here either.

I was only 5 that year but I’ve certainly read about that. Buchanan is the face of the xenophobia and bigotry that has dominated the Republican Party. A drunk Iamenting an America that never was.
