Wingnuts don’t realize:
1. This is a very “well-regulated” militia.
2. Swiss citizens are issued standard govt.-approved weapons, they can’t own all the guns their heart desires.
3. Govt. strictly controls all the ammo.

At this link you will find the page of a young lady who exemplifies competition shooters in the USA. D_L and I met her quite a few times, and if you watch her shoot, well it’s world champion level. I happen to know her from being a range safety/scorekeeper at the Steel Challenge, aka world speed shooting championships.

They can keep their guns and ammunition at home. They can make their own, many do as factory made is not the best for world class scores. There are tens of thousands of people just like those in Switzerland, who also enjoy a sport, in such a way as it is a safely run sport with very few accidents.

Those who really don’t like guns will probably find many of her opinions on guns objectionable. Well the feeling is mutual, and that’s just gonna be the lay of the land so to speak.

It’s a good time to remember that for every wingnut, there are many good people out there. With those guns and gun sports
