Hello.
I am very familiar with the Lordstown Ohio GM plant. When I was hauling cars back in the late 70’s I picked up there quite often. Operating out of Lewiston NY, it is the only remaining plant from my days hauling. Baltimore, Wilmington De, Linden NJ, Tarrytown NY all shuttered. Oshawa delivered to Wellesly Island NY and Lewistown which were rail heads. They shutter Lordstown GM, that will kill that area. It sits in Trumbull county, which BTW…… What Republican Donald Trump did in Trumbull County and nearly pulled off in Mahoning County hasn’t been done in 88 years.
Talk about buyers remorse. I imagine there are a lot of very upset people. It isn’t like that part of the world has a surplus of jobs that pay as well as GM does.
I find no joy in any of it.

More rust for The Rust Belt.

The Trump voters in that part of Ohio didn’t like Hillary telling them the truth and trying to show them a way for the future.

They bought the easy lies of Trump and now they face a bad future.

I hope some of them are realizing they were flat out taken for fools. It’s a hard thing to accept, but fools they were.
