During the season, Daughter1 sits in a tree stand with a laptop editing Other People’s Novels. When one of our small Alabama deer wanders into range, she kills it for her family. She is not a hunter, she is a predator.

You call it what it is. Tree stands are not hunting; stalking is hunting.
