I’m thinking there’s a freedom of speech issue here with “not criticizing horse paste.” I don’t think the government can tell pharmacists they can’t do this. Do we know if the law indemnifies pharmacists from lawsuits if they’re not permitted to criticize horse paste, a customer buys it and then is adversely affected?
States have passed similar legislation on other issues; don’t know how they fared but often opponents don’t have the resources to mount a suit. For example, there are food disparagement laws that prevent people from criticizing beef or various other products.
