It will be interesting to see how this guy’s suggestion is greeted. Ideas like that have been floated by Global Warming skeptics, IIRC, along the lines of, “okay, if it’s this huge crisis like you say, why don’t we try to directly address it?”. Look for those whose real “global warming” agenda is economic control to slap this down; ditto the quasi-religious Greenies who see “global warming” as divine punishment by Gaia for our sins (driving SUVs, etc.).

I have a friend who suggests using a few nukes to set off some volcanoes if things get too warm.

Personally, this seems like overkill, but hey.
