Speaking of travel, what does everyone know about Frankfurt? I’ve been to Germany before so I know Munich and Berlin are plusses and they will be in the trip but I don’t know anything about Frankfurt. I’ve seen mixed things. Not sure if I want to set up base in Frankfurt and just take a train and bus to my great grandfather’s home village (about a hour or so outside the city) or just set up base in the small town that I’ve seen a lot of peoples names in my tree come from.

I flew into and out from there in 1993, and got more of an interrogation than I have in four US airports since 2001. They take stuff seriously all day long.

I could send you to the town my sister lives in, which is nice, but then you might meet her, and she’s crazy.
