I think Rory’s only problem with the Breitbart story is that the news came out, not that it happened. Republicans are invariably supportive of white supremacy and all other kinds of bigoted shit if they can benefit from it politically while pretending they are not personally guilty.

DF here was a perfect example of that pattern.

DF’s problem would act like he wasn’t part of the right’s continued descent into madness because he would condemn things like Islamaphobia, homophobia, sexism but then he would say he had no choice but to vote GOP. I think for a lot of people, the final straw for him and his character was months after saying he’d never vote for Ted Cruz, he went ahead and voted for him. And then many of y’all on Twitter saw how two faced he was.
