Buck misfired a bit but Max Blumenthal is indeed a hateful bigot and a crackpot. Although he doesn’t contribute much anymore he was a writer for the anti-Israel hatesite Mondoweiss and invented the bogus conspiracy theory last year that the Israeli government was training US law enforcement to crack down on OWS protests. Alternet (much like examiner.com) is a junk site with little or no editorial oversight or quality control. Any crackpot can post anything, it’s part of their business model.
