Pet peeve-In California guns that have been made for years and passed national and military tests for safe operation and reliability have to be re tested model by model all over again. This includes minor changes on guns that have been out and used for decades like changing the sights. The SF/Berkeley/ Sacramento axis of far left politics tends to dominate the regulations and the discourse. Interesting especially because the accident and misfire rate from design flaws or part failures has essentially been zero incidents over decades.
