The question becomes how to restore respect for the truth, the facts, the honest heart of the matters at hand. Where does that advocacy come from?

I think the factcheckers are doing a decent job and Politifact is going to start regular fact checks of the partisan pundit shows on cable TV. It won’t make much difference to the audiences of these shows but I think it will eventually start to chip away at the credibility of the pundits. They’ll have to start being more careful.
