Except that the bullet that hit the top of his head did not exit, Baden said the bullet that struck the crown of Michaels head traveled at slightly forward and rightwards angle somewhat towards the right eye socket. The bullet that hit next to his right eye was a different bullet altogether.

Baden said one bullet, which was likely the fatal shot, entered in the top of Brown’s skull. Another hit just above his right eye, exited near the eye, re-entered his face, exited near his jaw and then ended up in Brown’s upper chest or shoulder. Brown suffered four other gunshot wounds to his right arm and palm.

Still means that Michael’s head had to be tilted down at slightly more than a 90 degree angle (as if you were looking down at your toes) when the bullet struck. I dont think being on his knees is at all necessary for the trajectory as it was described as a “slightly forward angle.”
