flood warnings are important so certainly listen to them.
and learn how they affect your immediate area:

- will you be able to get out of your front door?
- to your car / out your driveway, etc
- are the local roads flooded or driveable
- and for how long

how much water does it take for this to happen

you’ll catch on pretty quick

we acknowledge most flood warnings/watches and then find they generally dont matter much, even if we get a lot of standing water
