Comedy ensued on the Rush show this morning as he tried to explain why Conservative Big Government was proof how much they loved America, while Liberal Big Government was just a commie welfare state.

I still recall hearing Rush criticizing Clinton for running a budget surplus: it just meant that the government was taking more of our money than it needed to operate, which was somehow immoral…
