In regards to the N.C. state fair ride “accident” that injured 5 people, three of them severely enough to still be in the hospital. I posted the other day that there was no way the safety interlocks on the ride should have allowed the accident to happen. (Post with video here)

It turns out I was right, the rides operator has been arrested for intentionally by-passing the safety interlocks. I kinda figured that was going to be the case. (NBC article on arrest with video)
