I’m reading Fear now (up to chapter 9), and Woodward captures the completely ad hoc nature of the Trump campaign and transition. I am quite sure Bannon was one of his main sources, because Bannon is portrayed as the guy who saved the Trump campaign from itself. Left to its own devices, the campaign would have imploded under Manafort and the rest of the “Island of the Misfit Toys,” as Bannon is quoted as saying.

I believe it. The campaign was burning before Bannon came along. I guess it’s no wonder why he has an arrogant touch to him.
