Would the 49ers have won if Colin Kaepernick were still on the team?

Hard to know. In his final games as a starter, he was erratic, to say the least. He overthrew a wide receiver by so much that the ball sailed completely off the field, slamming into a guy on the sideline who was (incorrectly) figuring he was well off the field and out of harm’s way.

Gave him a mild concussion.

At his height, Kap was very, very good. Dominant, even. But then he got the equivalent of a golfer’s case of “the yips” and couldn’t seem to settle down.
