We ended up with a bit over seven and half inches of rain for calendar year 2022, about two inches below normal.

But five inches of that rain had fallen since 1 Oct. And most of that in the past couple of weeks.

2022 started off very dry.

The current rain year (starts 1 Oct) is off to a good start but that has happen a few times in recent decade. Oct-Dec being wet, the rest of the year being very dry.

I don’t know how to pull up climate records for my area. NWS Cheyenne’s page has always been fubar.
