Here’s an idea.

Congress should convene and be in session only once every 3 years.

They would then have to pay attention to those matters that are most important.

Instead, they seem to always be there in DC, so bored they must think up things to do, and we suffer.

Actually not a bad idea overall. Here in Texas our “lege” only meets every other year, and they can do enough damage during that time. But it’d sure be worse if they sat every year, all year.
