Ah. I believe in free will. But I do admit little things like Mao , Hitler, Stalin, the Plague etc…. do make ya wonder about a Supreme Being sometimes.

Everything isn’t perfect, so the cardinal virtues (prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance), which go back to Plato’s Republic, give us the tools and will to carry on. For those of us who are religious, the theological virtues - faith, hope, and charity - also give us strength.
