On the teleskiguy home front, I procured my Epic Pass this afternoon and I am going skiing for Vail’s opening day. Out of my many years living in the Eagle River Valley I’ve never skied Vail on opening day. Should be fun, though it might be a little crowded.

And if I could address dr. klys. Just so you know where I’m coming from. I found my fountain of youth, and telemark skiing is it. It’s my Zen. That being said, skiing/snowboarding is definitely not for everyone. If you do go to Breckenridge, go on a snowmobile tour on a sunny day, you’ll have a blast!
