I grew up in an immigrant neighborhood in Buffalo NY.
I knew at least a dozen different languages before I entered my teenage years, just by interacting with the parents of my friends.

Learned a lot of curse words in the process. :D

You gotta teach me some Slovak ones. My grandmother doesn’t remember and I think would be too prudish to tell me even if she did.
